Any of this familar?  This is why you gotta love the hide button on Facebook!  Everyday their all these spammy posts flying around.  These folks haven't learned what it takes to market online professionally.  It's the kind of thing that gives the industry a bad name and is exactly how NOT to market your ACN business online.

You don't know the first thing about me.  I don't know the first thing about you.  Hold on a second! What do YOU bring to the table, what separates you from the thousands of others online?   You think I'm going to jump into business with you and I don't even know you?  I've been in the game for a long time and know that you gotta ask for the order, but really? This approach is a great way to lose any credibility you have with your new contact and you will struggle marketing ACN.

If you are serious about marketing ACN online then there is a right way to do it  You must add value before asking for a committment.  Below are several important keys to put into play.

1.  Associate with fellow networkers that are like minded.  Join groups where ACN prospects may be members. There are countless marketing and MLM groups on Facebook.  Join those!  Also, look for groups of people that already express interest in your telecommunication products.  How about personal growth or training groups?  You know that people that are into personal growth are generally open to unique opportunities.

2.  Create your own group or fan page.  What's your niche?  It is my intent to work with up and coming leaders and professionals.  So, I made a fan page called, Professional Team Builders.  It is pretty straightforward and I focus on posting information on building teams like a professional.

3.  Find people that already have large followings of people.  Eventually as you provide value and connect with this person then you can ask them to join your page.  The viral nature of Facebook is incredible.  Use it to your advantage.  When a big player joins your group all of their people see it and will often join too.  DO NOT market your ACN business to these folks right from the jump.  Take some time to build a relationship.  Add value, connect and then ask for the order.

4.  Engage in the process, be social.  Comment on posts and start a lot of conversations.  Your profile should be updated with compelling posts.  Start following those that are big in the social media world to get some ideas for what works.  DO NOT pitch and market ACN on a continous basis.  Mix it up.  You will be more successful by promoting your marketing system that you are using instead of pitching ACN directly.  (If, for some reason, you aren't using a marketing system then get on it doggone it!)

6.  As soon as you can, get the conversation offline.  If you are close meet in person but at a minimum pick up that phone or hit em up on skype.  No hiding behind the net!  Get real and connect live!

At the end of the day, your intentions have got to be in the right place.  Don't let yourself be viewed as a spammer!  Market right and market your ACN business like a pro!  Zig Ziglar, "You can everything thing you want if you help enough other people get what they want."   When you add valuable content you will become the go to guy or gal. Although this doesn't happen overnight take some time to establish your credibility...it will be worth it.  When you do this properly, people will come to you asking questions. This is the appropriate time to present your ACN opportunity, and hopefully, they join your business because they enjoy what you bring to the table.
